Safety First
The roofing and siding industry can be dangerous for the people who work in it as well as for the personnel who work around the site. CSM recognizes its responsibility to take every means possible to secure the safety of people in and around our project sites.
-
Experienced Crews: To aviod accidents, CSM uses only verteran crews with many years of experience. Our foremen and project superintendents are continually put through safety training classes on subjects such as: first aid, CPR, and proper operation of equipment used in the field.
-
Proper Safety Equipment: All of CSM's scaffolding, ladders, ropes, and safety harnesses are checked and re-certified on a regular basis. All tools and machinery are inspected before each use.
-
Safety Training: All veteran employees are required to attend a series of OSHA certified safety courses.
-
Site-specific Safety Planning: CSM performs a hazard analysis for every job site they work on. Using this analysis, along with input from our clients, we formulate a site-specific safety plan that protects all parties involved.
-
Daily Tool Box Meetings: Tool Box Meetings are held on every project before the day begins to review hazard and safety plans.
